Appearance: Kosmar is tall and broad with skin so dark it appears black with hints of red. His long, wild hair is dark purple and his brooding eyes are orbs of violet. Two thick horns protrude from his low brow and extend above his head. Kosmar typically wears simple clothes of dark cloth, unadorned with any markings or embroidery. He rarely smiles and has an almost palpable aura of darkness yet others seem mysteriously drawn to him. Perhaps because of his handsome face and strong shoulders, or maybe it’s because, despite his dark demeanour he always keeps his word and is sworn to fight injustice.
Background: The Last War defined Kosmar. Months before being sent to serve in the army he locked himself in his father’s observatory in his small hometown in Karnnath and studied the stars, hoping to learn a way to survive and protect his people. He unlocked a power within himself, a power drawn from the cosmos. He led a unit of warriors throughout the war and when the treaty had been made and he returned home to his disease and famine ridden nation he rode hard to his hometown and found it inhabited only by the dead. Silent in his anguish he climbed the spiral stairs to the old observatory and waited for the stars to appear. When they did he cursed them for giving him the power to fight for a family he could not return to. He fled the town and eventually Karnnath, swearing never to fight for his nation again. Only would he protect the innocent… and punish the evil."
